Ingredients
- 2 garlic clove chopped
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ quarter fresh lime
- 2 Tablespoons fish sauce
- 4 Tablespoons or more of water
Instructions
- Put chopped garlic, sugar, and pepper flakes in a mortar and grind with a pestle until it becomes a paste.
- Squeeze lime juice over paste, scraping the pulp from lime into mixture as well.
- Mix well and pour into a bowl or jar.
- Add fish sauce and water and stir until well blended.
- Taste and if it is too salty, add more water, about 1 Tablespoon at a time until it is tasty.
