Makes about 80 cookies.

Ingredients

  • ½ c (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 t Vanilla
  • 2 c (1 lb.) peanut butter
  • 4 ½ c quick-cooking oats
  • 2 t baking soda
  • 1 c M & Ms
  • 1 c Raisins
  • 1 c Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer until pale & fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter until well blended.
  4. Mix oats with baking soda in a separate bowl.
  5. Stir oats mixture into dough until dough stiffens up.
  6. Stir in M & Ms, raisins, and chocolate chips.
  7. Shape into 1 inch balls, place three inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  8. Flatten then with a spoon or your palm to a 2 inch diameter.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Cool on sheets on cooling racks for 5 minutes.
  11. Remove the cookies from the sheet and place them on cooling racks to cool completely.
