These are aka Mexican Wedding Cakes. Makes about 3 dozen.

Ingredients

  • 1 c butter of margarine
  • ¼ c powdered sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 c flour (sifted)
  • 1 c chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together and beat until fluffy.
  3. Stir in the flour and pecans.
  4. Shape into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  6. Roll cocoons in powdered sugar while still hot.
